‘She’s ambitious and has a lot to say’ Royal biographer says Meghan could be President

Royal biographer Tom Bower reflected on the possibility of Meghan Markle entering politics and aiming for the top role of US President. While speaking on Good Morning Britain, Mr Bower insisted the Duchess of Sussex was very ambitious and had a lot to say. He added she has shown she wants to influence the world and is in a position to that.

He added Meghan had good connections like former President Barack Obama.

Mr Bower said: “I think Meghan is clearly someone who is very interested in politics.

“I also think she is someone who would like to influence the world.

“I think she is well placed with friendships with former President Barack Obama and ex-President Clinton so she would be well placed to get on the Democratic ticket in California.

“There are 53 representatives there and most of them democrats and she could run for one of them.

“I think she has got the right basis for it because she is ambitious and got a lot to say.”

The Royal expert also argued Meghan’s flaws may not prove to be too much of an issue in politics.

He also reiterated how much of a global name the Duchess of Sussex now was after leaving the Royal Family.

While speaking to the Good Morning Britain host Ranvir Singh Mr Bower argued Meghan would need to overcome her issues as she enters politics.

Ms Singh argued that Donald Trump was also very averse to criticism and that did not stop him from being President.

Mr Bower highlighted that this was an issue Meghan would have to deal with to be successful.
