Patsy Palmer slams Jeremy Clarkson for ripping into her GMB appearance ‘Get a life!’
Patsy Palmer, 48, has hit out at Jeremy Clarkson, 60, after he ripped into her recent appearance on Good Morning Britain while hosting his new show It’s Clarkson On TV last night. The former Top Gear star took aim at everyone on the programme – from Meghan Markle and Greta Thunberg to Patsy storming off GMB.
However, the former EastEnders actress didn’t find the show particularly amusing, as she took to her Instagram story to hit back at his jibes, which including not “knowing” who she was.
Sharing a screenshot of a comment from one irked viewer of the programme, Patsy added her thoughts, as she typed: “Just catching up on UK news!! Same old rubbish!!!
“Sad old men chasing their career by abusing others nothing changes!” (sic)
In another screenshot posted by Patsy, a separate viewer had tweeted about the “terrible canned laughter” on Jeremy’s programme.
“As you can see taking aim at strong women must make you feel like a real man.
“Clearly need an audience paying for canned laughter. Nice one.”
She finished: “Get a life Clarkson. You used to be quite good on Top Gear.”
Other viewers were also left displeased by Jeremy’s new show, as some compared it to Harry’s TV Burp.
One said: “Clarkson’s TV Burp is, predictably, s***. #ClarksonOnTv.”
Another wrote: “I see the humour but also see a lot of problematic jokes.”
But a fan remarked: “Wow #ClarksonOnTV has to be one of the worst things to come out of the last year.”
It comes as the former EastEnders star “did a Piers Morgan” last month and quit her interview with Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard early on Good Morning Britain, when she became upset after seeing the words “addict to wellness guru” appear on the bottom of the screen.
Jeremy played the clip of Patsy shutting off her webcam link on GMB and joked: “Now I absolutely sympathise with whoever that was because imagine being labelled a ‘wellness guru’.”
The 48-year-old told fans on her social media that she hadn’t written a book about her life in over 20 years, after Ben explained that the tagline they used was a quote from her own release.
“I haven’t written a book in 20 years so don’t believe that either,” Patsy hit back when she took to Instagram.
“Guess what people!!!!
“People change and grow and live happy healthy lives, so stop trying to make people small and worthless,” she continued in view of her 327,000 followers.
