‘Oh dear’ Naga Munchetty cut off from guest in BBC Breakfast tech blunder

“How much does business rely on British travellers?” Naga asked.

Sue replied: “I would certainly say 90 percent, we do get some Germans, Swedish, Canadians even, obviously Spanish but the majority is British because we are the British restaurant focused on British food, British drinks like Old Speckled Hen that we do, so yeah we rely on the tourism but so do the Spanish restaurant and bars.

“All the hotels are closed at the moment, they need the tourists.”

Naga asked what Sue thinks it could look like when travel opens up again in terms of the vaccine passport debates going on, and what she would be comfortable with as a bar owner.
