What are Telegraph writers saying?

It has been a disappointing year for Liverpool as their title challenge fell apart in January amid a blizzard of injuries and faltering form. But one of the shining lights of this campaign for Klopp’s side has been the form of Curtis Jones. Chris Bascombe says the Scouse midfielder’s rise might have gone under the radar for many – but Jones is a gem who offers Liverpool a different dimension.

In the first few weeks of the season, Fulham looked a dead-cert to go straight back down to the Championship. But their improved form is testament to Parker’s tactical tweaks and the new faces who have breathed life into the struggling squad. Sam Dean’s feature about Fulham’s shrewd recruitment looks at how they learned lessons from their last spell in the top flight to give themselves a fighting chance of survival.
