Kate Middleton hailed as ‘silent power’ behind Prince William –‘Keeps everything together’

Kate and her late mother-in-law are often likened in the way they have carried out their royal duties. According to one royal expert, both women have similar ways of conveying their ideas through their body language.

Royal biographer Andrew Morton highlighted Kate’s recent surprise visit to Sarah Everard’s vigil in South London, last month, as an example of how Prince William’s wife resembles Diana.

He explained that such quiet appearances were also typical of the Princess of Wales, with both women proving “one gesture is worth a thousand words.”

He told OK!: “It shows that Kate is someone who doesn’t have to speak out.

“She’s doing what Diana used to do, which is let her body language tell the story.”

Royal expert Katie Nicholl also weighed in on the Duchess’ importance in the Royal Family with her support toward the Duke of Cambridge.

The author told the news outlet: “Kate is the silent power behind William, the linchpin that keeps everything together.”

Other royal analysts have echoed similar claims, with one royal commentator highlighting that the Duchess avoids outstripping the Duke of Cambridge.

She compared the royal couple’s relationship to that of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, claiming that Diana taking the public attention from the heir to the throne “caused huge problems”.
