Kate and William seek new PA in first royal reshuffle since Meghan and Harry’s interview

Kate and William are officially based from Kensington Palace, London and the couple are currently seeking a new personal assistant. The full-time job has been listed online and requires the successful candidate “maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times”.

It states: “We require an experienced PA to provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy team.

“The role will be responsible for managing diaries, arranging meetings, organising and assisting with visits, events and travel.

“Duties will also include: handling telephone calls and regularly drafting letters and emails.”

The job description also states the right candidate must have a “proactive approach” and have previous PA and administrative experience.

It adds: “Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential, as is attention to detail and a willingness to undertake a wide variety of tasks.”

The job will be based at Kensington Palace.

Applications close next week, at 11.55pm on April 11.

The website states all offers of employment are subject to “a number of pre-employment checks to meet security and personnel requirements”.

Harry later added: “That conversation, I am never going to share.

“At the time, it was awkward, I was a bit shocked.”

Both Meghan and Harry declined to name the Royal Family member involved in the conversation.

However Ms Winfrey later revealed the Sussexes had told her it wasn’t the Queen or Prince Philip.

William later outright denied the Royal Family was racist.

He told reporters: “We’re very much not a racist family.”

Buckingham Palace released a short statement following the interview and vowed to address the matters raised “privately”.

It added “some recollections may vary” about the subjects brought up by Meghan and Harry.
