James Middleton delights fans with introduction to ‘surprise’ family member on Instagram

Kate’s younger brother and fiancée Alizée Thevenet have spent the current lockdown staying at his parents’ Bucklebury home. The 33-year-old James wished his fans a “Happy Easter”, before revealing that there was another member of the Middleton family, that they might not be familiar with. In his social media post, James introduced his followers to his pet rabbit Pretzel.

Sharing a photo of the adorable bunny sat between two of his dogs, he wrote: “Happy Easter from my family to yours.

“Many of you don’t know I have a rabbit called Pretzel and is really important for me all my animals to get along.

“I’ve made a little training video on how I introduce my dogs to other animals over at @ella.co starting Pretzel and Daphne – Happy Easter.”

James is the proud owner of five spaniels and a four-year old golden retriever.

In a recent article for the Daily Telegraph, he credited his 13-year-old spaniel Ella for having introduced him to his future wife.

“Matchmaker” Ella had made a beeline for Alizée, while she was waiting to order a drink at the South Kensington Club in Chelsea.

In his article, James also said that he and Alizée have decided to relocate from London to the countryside.

He confided that they could not wait to move into their new rural property and were counting down the days until they got the keys to their new home.

“We are country people and love going out for long walks, but one of the key reasons we wanted to live in the countryside was our six dogs,” he said.
