Bizarre moment Camilla’s royal visit is interrupted by robot offering gifts ‘Ooo perfect!’

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 73, put on a polite display of gratitude when she received an awkward gift of face masks, hand sanitiser and multivitamins during a visit to a pharmacy headquarters on Tuesday. Photos and videos of The Duchess of Cornwall’s solo engagement were shared on Twitter.

One clip shows the royal being brought a package by a robot during her trip to the factory.

Daily Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer tweeted: “The Duchess of Cornwall has been visiting the headquarters of Kamsons Pharmacy in Uckfield, East Sussex.

“The company was founded in 1979 by Uganda Asian refugees.

In a follow-up tweet with the video, Mr Palmer tweeted: “Camilla receives a gift of face masks, sanitiser, and multivitamins delivered by a weasel robot.”

The pictures were accompanied by the message: “This morning, The Duchess met station manager Darren O’Brien at Victoria Station to discuss the #RailToRefuge scheme.

“The initiative, coordinated by @RailDeliveryGrp and @womensaid, helps people to escape domestic abuse and reach a safe refuge quickly and free of charge.”

Wednesday’s outing was Camilla’s first since she and Prince Charles returned from Greece last week.

The two-day trip was to mark the country’s bicentenary but was criticised by some as it allowed the royal couple to travel abroad while England remained under lockdown.
