Amanda Holden admits she still has ‘primal sex’ with husband Chris Hughes

Amanda Holden has revealed she and her husband Chris Hughes still have a ‘primal’ sex life after 12 years of marriage.

Far from letting romance fall by the wayside after the honeymoon period ends, Amanda insisted she and Chris have kept the spark alive. 

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 50, admitted her other half is ‘always up for it’ so it’s usually down to her to decide when they get intimate.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: ‘He can’t keep his hands off me. I actually tell him off because I say, “I don’t want to have a kiss and a grope while I’m trying to load the dishwasher”.’ 

‘Chrispy’s up for it any time. Always. So it’s when I decide. Poor chap!’

Amanda added that the secret to her and Chris’ connection is appreciation and respect for one another.  

The media personality reckons being playful with your partner is the way to go.

The TV star recalled how Chris previously dared her to jump naked on their children’s trampoline in the garden and she went for it without hesitation.

She said: ‘I would encourage anyone at home to strip off and have a cheeky bounce.’ 

Amanda added that her husband is a ‘great kisser’, which she thinks is ‘really important’ in a relationship.

In keeping with her adventurous nature, Amanda previously told how she once cooked a roast dinner naked because she didn’t have time to dress.

She told the Mail On Sunday’s YOU magazine: ‘It’s absolutely par for the course for me to be walking around with no clothes on in our house.’  

‘I was quite literally the Naked Chef. I got out of the shower, realised I was running late to get everything on the table so I didn’t bother to get dressed.

‘I just raced downstairs, got the potatoes on, the meat in the oven and my veggie option. It definitely made it more interesting.’ 

The former Wild At Heart actress said humour is another big reason for her successful relationship, saying she and Chris are not afraid to make fun of each other.

The couple tied the knot in 2008 and are parents to daughters Lexi, 15, and Hollie, nine.
